Capn12
Well regardless of how shaky it was, Contreras did exactly what he was supposed to so far, keep us in the game and have a halfway decent start. Its time for some guys to pull their weight with the bats now, pretty sad state of affairs to have 3 hits against A. Lopez and Jason Grilli.... Brian
QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 08:14 PM) Thome and Konerko have. I have no problem with Dye. He's started out pretty well. Paulie's the one I'm growing tired of pretty quick in terms of his plate production. For me it is Thome.
Guest
Hawk is an idiot. I've had my tv on mute for half this game I'm so tired of listening to those 2. It's like being down at goddamn Floyd's Barber shop in the 50's listening to those boneheads. stacey king and red kerr + tom dore suck as well. i always have to watch bull games on mute because all they do is b*tch, b**ch, b**ch. same with hawk. it just makes them out to be b**ches and ruins it for the fans at home. He looked much improved over last outing. Had himself a few 1-2-3 innings. Looked ok. One bad inning got him.

Barring injuries, I can not see too many teams looking for slow, past their prime, .270-ish hitting DH's.

Worse than the Bulls in general?!? It's painful enough watchin' that team. I posted a rant on my bears board about being a top 3 market and having the quality of announcers there are. And that Cubs crew....geeeeeeez. I hate listening to Brenley more than Hawk and BJ...

Guest
I like Stacey King i understand he's a color commentator but he is a friggin goofball and becomes extremely annoying when the calls are not going chicago's way. plus, it's not like he was ever a great player but he's got an ego like he was. anyways...on to the sox game. it looks like the boys don't want this W. they're just under a trance right now going through the motions. that's what i hated about last year's team. how they wouldn't work the pitcher...just coast.
