NorthSideSox72
That works! If Ozzie was coaching DET, people would be having a fit that he hadn't pulled Verlander yet.
DonkeyKongerko
The HBP king strikes again.
santo=dorf
Cabrera clearly got plunked on the head, and as he was laying on the ground, Pudge is screaming at the ump, trying to convince him the ball hit the bat, making it a foul. There was no question it hit his head. We don't condone personal attacks on players, and shouldn't have said that, but that was really ugly to me. Eh, we'll call it even for the JD HBP in G2 of the 05 WS.

chisoxfan79
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2008 -> 08:07 PM) Only way Swisher scores on that is if he knew Ordonez was playing Thome on the warning track. I know Ive just seen too much not scoring from second on a base hit this year

whitesoxfan101
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 12, 2008 -> 02:09 PM) That works! If Ozzie was coaching DET, people would be having a fit that he hadn't pulled Verlander yet. And they'd be right, Verlander should have been gone a couple batters ago. Be nice to get a few more and not need to use Bobby.

Greg The Bull Luzinski
If Floyd pitches this way all year, KW is suddenly back to being a genius.
lostfan
That was a pretty questionable decision risking leaving Verlander out there to die against Dye (no pun intended).
