JDsDirtySox
Gavin Floyd. The guy is a Tiger Tamer... even last year when they could hit.
claydude14
I'm in love with Floyd right now. And in belief of his "not feeling like it's my body" quotes. The mental and physical didn't match, now they do.
GreatScott82
1) Floyd 2) Vazquez 3) Crede Floyd is my player of the series because he once again dominated the Tigers. He also stopped a 2 game losing skid. Could there be more of this stuff from Floyd this year? That would be HUGE if we plan to be in the race. Vazquez was dominate out there today. He once again stuck out his 7+ and is showing that he can indeed pitch in big games.. which is something none of us thought he could do back in 06. Crede, what else can you say about this guy.. he is locked in right now. He has come a far way since his surgery, to trade talks, to a poor spring, and now a hot start... Nobody would have expected this from this guy.. Lets take the first game tommorow vs those pesky young A's. Heads22
Cabrera started to pick up this series as well. I don't think I'm ever gonna get sick of Swish.
Jimbo's Drinker
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 10:49 PM) Cabrera started to pick up this series as well. I don't think I'm ever gonna get sick of Swish. Swish and Ocab could be great at 1-2. For the most part the middle of the lineup has been bad so far. How do you do a poll so I could keep track of MVP for most series'
southsider2k5
There are so many people you could pick out for MVP of this series, both offensively and defensively. Both Vazquez and Floyd had HUGE games pitching, while guys like Crede and Swisher had great series at the plate and in the field. It is a nice arguement to be having. RME JICO
Floyd. If Ozzie Guillen's hunch is correct, the acquisition of Gavin Floyd from the Philadelphia Phillies could go down as one of the most lopsided trades ever made by Chicago White Sox GM Ken Williams according to the Chicago Tribune. "With that stuff, he can be a No. 2, No. 1 [starter] pretty soon," Guillen said. "That's my opinion, because the stuff is there.'' http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/rumors/post/Gu...TiA5dGGxXU5nYcB

103 mph screwball
Floyd! When your number five pitcher pitches a one hit performance against a big division rival's number one, it has to be a big boost to team confidence that carried over to Sunday's game and hopefully beyond.
