Zaleski and Lujan each pitched 2 scoreless innings and Derek Rodriguez pitched 3, striking out 6 to gain the win. Bottom of the 13th: * Victor Mercedes walks. * With Miguel Negron batting, Victor Mercedes caught stealing 2nd base, catcher Jose Camarena to shortstop Diory Hernandez. * Miguel Negron singles on a fly ball to center fielder Matt Young. * David Cook singles on a fly ball to right fielder Mark Jurich. Miguel Negron to 3rd. * Ricardo Nanita singles on a fly ball to center fielder Matt Young. Miguel Negron scores. Winston-Salem won 4-3. Rasner pitched 6 very solid innings for the win. Lang: 1-4, rbi Shelby: 1-2, R Francisco Hernandez: 2-3, 2B, R, 2 rbi Kannapolis won 6-5. Santo Luis pitched 5 innings in relief of Socolovich to get the win.
