fathom
Quick observation: I'm thrilled to see Ozzie not have OC bunt before. With Konerko slumping, it would have likely taken the bat out of Thome's hands.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Just got home. 1st 2 batters I see are Thome and Konerko . Yes !
Guest
Pauly? Since when THome's first name is Paul? What are you talking about...it's obvious you can't see the game.
fathom
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 19, 2008 -> 12:56 AM) A cheap homer??? Sarcasm, as I called Thome's homer cheap. Thome's homer might have landed on the concourse at the Cell.

Cowch
Tampa guys just said Neimann or w/e has had 5 3-2 counts. I love it. Great inning boys. I'm glad there were 2 on for Thome.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 18, 2008 -> 04:59 PM) Sarcasm, as I called Thome's homer cheap. Thome's homer might have landed on the concourse at the Cell. Gotcha...I was confused. And that was one of the farther hit balls I've ever seen. That thing was an absolute monster. Anyone remember when Thomas hit that homer in Tampa back early in the Rays days (when Thomas was still in or close to his prime). I think they said it would have gone like practically 600 feet had it not hit something on the roof or hanging from the roof.
