Steve9347
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 18, 2008 -> 03:21 PM) SI claims that they've identified the guy known as "Max" in Canseco's latest book who Jose claims is ARod's steroid connection, and in their interview with him, he's calling Jose the liar. Well, no need to read that book now...
Swingandalongonetoleft
The first thing to run through my head when Canseco brought up Max and then didn't disclose the details right away was how much money ARod makes, how much he probably values his reputation, and how easily most people can be bought. Besides, aren't there potential legal consequences for admitting that you supplied someone with steroids? I don't see too many people accused of something just 'fess up unless there are things such as reduced sentences or immunity involved. Gregory Pratt
Brian McNamee denied it, too. Everyone does. Is Rodriguez a steroid user, or does he have any connections to this "Max" fellow? Well, maybe, but there's no evidence either way, and this denial is nothing.
