We have the exact same record after 21 games as we did last year.

We're a better team than last year. That doesn't mean this is anything better than an 81 win team though.

The Cy Youngification process has begun for the Orioles pitcher. DJ " Sometimes your approach at the plate is just fine, and the hits aren't dropping. You have to give credit where credit is due."

I give credit, Greg and Mike get a lot of credit for the state of this softball team we have on the field. I will be livid when Ozzie decides to bench Quentin down the road, because we "need the fuse" at the top of the lineup. If this team goes into a dump, that will be one of he first things he does to "inject" speed into the everyday lineup.

I'm just so sick of this offense. It's the same s*** as last year. This team has no speed too manufacture any type of runs. It is the homerun or nothing. Just like last year.

Good thing we don't play at Wrigley 81 games a year. We'd have no chance at scoring if the wind was blowing in.

We're missing the two guys on the team with the best batting average. Is anyone surprised this lineup is doing bad? This is a blueprint to the Sonnanstine game last week.

I have been talking about this for years. Its the Joe Mays blueprint on how to beat a Greg Walker team. You spot low and away with sub 90mph fastballs. Our team will attempt to pull them no matter what. When you get 2 strikes, go to changeups in the dirt away ( which again we will attempt to pull ), or breaking pitches into the opposing batters box. That will shut the team down. Now on the other hand, you get a flamethrower hitting 100 and we will rock him because they challenge our softball team over the middle of the plate.

Ozuna's been our best guy the last 3 years at taking those pitches and shooting them to the opposite field.

It's a shame because with the starting pitching we have been getting, our record should be alot better than it is.

Look at Mark Buerhle's record versus his ERA last year. He should of won 17 to 18 games last year with his ERA.

It is not only the hitting coach...if this is going on for over 3 years...I would assume the players would adjust to this.

You have a group of 30 year old players who only know one way of hitting. For a couple weeks it looked like they changed their approach, but now it's clear they haven't.

If they didnt fire him last year, I dont know what it will take for them to fire him this year. But if they do, they need to go outside the organization and find someone new. This promoting crap from within is a bit dumb.
