If they didnt fire him last year, I dont know what it will take for them to fire him this year. But if they do, they need to go outside the organization and find someone new. This promoting crap from within is a bit dumb.

Didn't they just hire from outside to bring in Cox to make this a more fundamentally sound team? From what I can tell, the team plays worse defense, runs bases worse than last year, can't put down a bunt, and can't hit the other way.

I don't really know what he was brought in for, but it seems to me the players have to take responsibility for sucking.

We keep bringing in players outside the org over the last 3 years. Its funny, they all cant hit the minute they come here for average. The entire team as a whole cannot be fired. But one man can

Okay. The Sox desperately need to score at LEAST 2 runs. How about stringing some hits together or create a run. Just SOMETHING! I hate watching corpseball.

One big difference...corpseball was when there was a s*** load of talent in the lineup.

We'll hear in the postgame show, how this guy was locating all his pitches and changing speeds and keeping our guys of balance. It will be the same old f***ing tune. Never how our guys can't make any type of adjustments and that they need to start picking it up against pitchers they should be able to get to.

Well Hawk that is bulls***. The guys are making millions of f***ing dollars. Make adjustments. Evediently something ain't working with our approach at the plate. I am sick of f***ing hearing the same s*** everytime against lefties and guys we have never seen before. Someone needs to be held accountable for this s***.

Dotel stays in to put this game out of hand. Watch Ozzie let Hall face the lefty closer in the bottom of the inning instead of letting someone like Ozuna bat.

i think hes gotta leave dotel in...with the double header we cant afford to burn through pitchers in this game

Who have the Sox brought in that's a high average hitter who hasn't performed? They bring in more reclamation projects than anything else.

Dye was brought in and has played well, generally. Thome has been Thome, and nobody is going to change that. AJ is hitting better this year by going the other way more and losing weight. He took responsibility.

Swisher wasn't a high average hitter, but a good on base guy, which is what we are seeing. Quentin is young and doing as expected. Cabrera...better turn things around but he's a veteran who should know how to play.

Other than that we've seen Pods, Erstad, Iguchi, Ramirez, Hall...these guys aren't that great.

Who am I missing?
