Heads22
I believe it was Cassel that I saw during a spring training game. IIRC, he was pounding the zone and pitching inside, and didn't look too bad.
scenario
CJ Retherford heating up for W-S. Third consecutive multiple hit game tonight... third consecutive game with a homerun. Average on the season up to .310 Starting to look like he did at Great Falls last year. Very nice. Edited April 27, 2008 by scenario
scenario
Pitching duel going on in the Kanny game. 0-0 at the end of 5. Carter has given up only two hits. Struck out 4 and walked none so far. The game is currently being delayed by rain.
dasox24
Retherford has done nothing but hit since we signed him as a UDFA less than a year ago. I understand he may not have great potential, but you can't argue with his production so far.
BigEdWalsh
I saw him play last year when he was with Great Falls. I like him. He hits.

BearSox
I think Retherford's ceiling is being like Robbie Hammock. Hammock is a decent bench guy who can play C, 1B, 3B, and LF, while being able to hit a little. If Retherford can be like that, that is a valuable addition to the bench.
