gsoxs1
These rankings are from a Fan survey. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/...ex.html?eref=T1 I was suprised that the Sox were up so high. They score pretty well in food, traffic and IQ. Way to be smart!
Buehrle>Wood
Highest I've ever seen the Cell score in one of these. It may be deserved now though.
Rowand44
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 04:43 PM) Highest I've ever seen the Cell score in one of these. It may be deserved now though. It's hard to rank all of them if you haven't been to every single one, but the Cell is a great ballpark right now. I love it.
knightni
I don't get how the neighborhood is that bad. Other than the Dan Ryan being so close, I mean.
lostfan
Taking away any of my homerism for a minute I have to say that honestly Camden Yards > US Cellular. The Cell has better concessions though.
rangercal
How do Yankee fans have Higher IQ? I am here on the east Coast and I have run into plenty of "yankee fans" who have no idea who Robinson Cano is. Serious.

Eh, there are Sox fans out there that don't know we traded for Nick Swisher this offseason too. Now, by that same token, I have NO IDEA how the Cubs are in the top 10 here. Even their fans will tell you the bleacher bums are dumb as s***. Edited April 30, 2008 by lostfan

I am here on the east Coast and I have run into plenty of "yankee fans" who have no idea who Robinson Cano is. Serious. Agreed, Yankee fans' IQ is highly overrated. A co-worker who moved from NY to Chi confirmed it when he mentioned the Yankee All Century Team fan voting and Tino Martinez was beating Lou Gehrig at 1B until the papers bashed the fans for it. Only then, did Gehrig pull ahead BTW, the more and more I look at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, the more I wish we could swap parks with them! Don't get me wrong, I luv Comiskey but that design with the flat upper deck with the club seats mixed in so close to the field makes me shake my head at Jerry for incorporating 2 levels of suites at Comiskey. iamshack
QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 06:05 PM) Taking away any of my homerism for a minute I have to say that honestly Camden Yards > US Cellular. The Cell has better concessions though. Visited OPACY last year for three games. Certainly the outside is beautiful, but I honestly was a little underwhelmed once we got inside. We got great seats (scalped them), but it just wasn't all that impressive. Maybe you just like what you're accustomed to...

Maybe you just like what you're accustomed to... I'm assuming when you say "outside" you're referring to the field/seating area and when you say "inside" you're talking about the concourses/concession areas. In that case I would agree with you. It's kind of like Wrigley, sure it's a more attractive field but the inside of it has nothing on Comiskey (I keep typing that and backspacing to say US Cellular, but to hell with that). I was actually referring mostly to the field though, Comiskey is kind of dull IMO. I'm not really "accustomed" to Camden Yards though, I've only been going there since '05 when I moved here. Otherwise I grew up on the South Side and I've been to Comiskey countless times. So if anything that's my benchmark.
