Kannapolis @ Lakewood Anthony Carter (3-0, 1.61) gets the start. On the season, in 28 innings (5 starts), Carter has struck out 29 and walked 4. scenario Posted May 3, 2008 Author Share Posted May 3, 2008 (edited) Anthony Carter went 5 innings tonight: gave up only 2 unearned runs, on 5 hits, 8 K's, 0 BB's. Drops his ERA to 1.36. He's only played two years of minor league ball (2006 at Bristol and 2007 at Great Falls.) He just turned 22 in April, so he's league-average age for a pitcher in the South Atlantic League.
