LINEUP

Here's my lineup:

1. Swisher

2. Thome

3. Quentin

4. Dye

5. Konerko

6. AJ

7. Crede

8. Cabrera

9. Ozuna

Why not start off every game with the two guys most likely to walk (Swisher and Thome) followed by the guy who is most likely to hit the ball and drive them in (Quentin)? The current top of the lineup can't seem to get on base with hits (applies to almost the entire lineup actually)... so increase the odds they'll get on via walks.

And least then we may have a fighting chance of scoring a few runs.

Something needs to shake up fast. This team is too talented to fall into another 2007 funk.

2b Ozuna

ss Cabrera

lf Quentin

dh Thome

rf Dye

1b Konerko

c AJ

3b Crede

Cf Anderson

Quentin needs to be in the 3 spot. He is the Sox best hitter and with Thome behind him will get better pitches. Quentin must get 4-5 abs per game. Put someone else behind Thome. They just pitch around him to get to Konerko and a double play. Swish can sit and sort it out for a day or two. If Dye isn't 100% then put Swish in left and move CQ to right. Do something! Bring up Bourgois {sp?} and let him play 2b. Send down Ramirez! He needs at bats. Bring him back up when he is ready to take someone's starting position. I still think this team has it in them to make a run. 2007 will creep in the back of their mind if something is not shaken up quickly.

Can't do much worse.......

What can it hurt to change the karma and do something whacky for one game?

Cant do any worse then lately and may help loosen up some of these hitters....

Plus, we can read about Ozzie's craziness for doing it....

Honestly I am really disappointed in Pablo this year so far, and I dont think his offense makes up for his lack of defense.

Danny Richar cannot get healthy fast enough for me

should start rehab in 2 weeks.. wonder how many at-bats he needs in AAA

I seriously think we ought to give Chris Getz a look.

Until someone is dropped from the 40 man, I dont think he will be

Meanwhile, he is outhitting Jerry Owens and Josh Fields at Charlotte, and the WhiteSox are looking for a second baseman who can hit.

I say find a way to adjust the roster and give the man a ticket to Chicago. He's gotta be BTU (better than Uribe) at this point.

They could put Sisco on the 60-day DL. Problem solved.

edit: they only have 39 on the 40-man anyway.

You mean trade or switch positions?

I meant switch positions. Getz can play 2B (his main position), SS, 3B, or CF.

Not sure which of those he would be moved to when Richar starts playing.

Fields is at 3B.

Owens is in CF.

Mike Rouse is currently at SS.

I don't see Charlotte taking Getz' bat out of the lineup and sitting him.

But I'm not sure they're going to sit one of the other guys either.

I think the best option may be to send Getz to Chicago. :P

Rouse can suck a dong...28 year old infielders who hit .250 at AAA can do their work from the bench.
