fathom
I have a bad feeling Ozzie is going to have Linebrink face Mauer and Morneau.

Brian
It seems like Juan has been hot lately or at least decent, but he is still batting .190.
ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (MAX @ May 8, 2008 -> 04:17 PM) . . . . he might be al player of the week this week. You said right now, not may. So by now what do you mean then? Todays game? The last 3 games to fit your point? I figured talking about someones last 7 games would be a pretty good sample set for a definition of "now". Controlled Chaos
QUOTE (G&T @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:17 PM) Why thank you. I started the game thread, so I decided to bring my "A" game. Successful, I knew you would be.
whitesoxfan101
Why is Linebrink up (according to Stoney). If they bring him in for Mauer and Morneau, that'd be dumb as can be.
Balta1701
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:19 PM) Rincon is only hitting 91-92 on his fastball according to MLB gamecast... looks like someone is missing the juice... Well, you do expect it to wear off eventually right?

fathom
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 8, 2008 -> 08:19 PM) Why is Linebrink up (according to Stoney). If they bring him in for Mauer and Morneau, that'd be dumb as can be. Ozzie did the same thing during the home opener, and Linebrink was a deep fly ball by Kubel away from blowing a 4 run lead. Hitting .294 in May (albeit in only 17 ABs). Hell i'd take it if Uribe hit .235 all year, you know he's gonna play good D, hit some HRs and knock guys in. fathom
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 8, 2008 -> 09:22 PM) He HAS to run here, and quick. I'd rather we let Quentin bat with someone on base. Ramirez can score on a double, and with Mauer's arm, I'd rather not give up the out.
whitesoxfan101
Linebrink hasn't pitched in 4 days and only once since April 28th. To bring him in for Mauer and Morneau at all, let alone while rusty, would likely result in a loss today. I hope my feeling on what is going to happen is wrong.
