fathom
Good catch by Toby after he started to stumble. Morneau had 5 meatballs to hit that at bat.

fathom
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 8, 2008 -> 08:42 PM) That's what happens when you go 10 days between outings from the bullpen. Which is why I was wondering why he didn't pitch last night instead of Logan.
SoxFan562004
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 02:42 PM) Good catch by Toby after he started to stumble. Morneau had 5 meatballs to hit that at bat. Since Linebrink throws a sinking type pitch, is he one of those who are better off getting work because if they are too rested their stuff straightens? whitesoxfan101
Twins chasing a lot of fastballs high and out of the zone. Another wild pitch, Mauer to 3rd. Awful.

whitesoxfan101
ANOTHER badly executed run down and Cuddyer makes 2nd. At least we got the 2nd out and didn't let a run score, but we haven't done a run down well all year. The contact play down 2 is not very smart baseball. fathom
Very nice play by Crede on the tough hop! He has to be careful with Kubel, as he crushes the high pitch.

At least we got the 2nd out and didn't let a run score, but we haven't done a run down well all year. The contact play down 2 is not very smart baseball. When you have Crede and Toby doing a rundown, the lack of speed makes it hard to get a quick out.

whitesoxfan101
Lefty should be in for Kubel too, more bad managing. Linebrink gets out of it, and our manager somehow gets away with not doing his job. PHEW!! Edited May 8, 2008 by whitesoxfan101
