elrockinMT
I have to say that even after Tuesday's masterpiece by Floyd and 7 runs I was unsure if we were at a point of saying we turned things around. I think the approach was better, but you like a couple or three winning games with offense to say we made it. Wed was horrible all the way around and today we have the pitching again, but of course zero offense.
SoxFan1
You CANNOT walk guys after being out in front 0-2.
Harry Chappas
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:10 PM) I hate the idea of Quentin in the 2nd spot. He should be batting 4th or 5th, because at least there's a slight chance Thome or Dye or AJP might get on. I really want AJP in the 2nd spot. Knock it off the three, four, and Fivea re set until October. 0-2 and then the walk. 4 walks in the series by Harris. Adam f***ing Everett is going to do something here. Steve9347
Must be hard for the SPs to know that if they give up just one run they'll get the L. At least if they go 9 scoreless innings they'll get the no decision.

SoxFan1
The White Sox offense makes it seem like hitting a baseball is one of the most difficult feats in all of sports. While frustrating, it's pretty amusing.
SoxFan562004
QUOTE (fathom @ May 8, 2008 -> 01:15 PM) But who would be on for Quentin? Hell, but Thome in the 2nd spot. Swisher was 2nd in the league in walks entering the week. He has struggled with avg. and slg, but he was still drawing walks, stick him in the 2 hole

Quentin to me projects to be a long term answer in the 3 hole. He walks, he gets deep in the count, he has power, and can hit for average.
