GoSox05
It would be nice to see Konerko and Thome have a big game. Drive in some runs. Not asking to much.
zenryan
now I know what it feels like to be a Bears fan. Good defense(pitching) and a s***ty offense.
The Ginger Kid
i'd really like to see them shake up the batting order tonight, even if it's just for one game. If Thome wasn't a millionaire athlete I'd probably feel sorry for him - he's lost up there. Bat him 9th.
Harry Chappas
Lead-off Pablo and put him at third and Cabrera at 9. Then bat Swisher third, Dye 4th and Konerko 5th. Thome gets to bat 7th after A.J and Uribe 8th. There is a part of me that would like to see Uribe lead-off today for s***s and giggles.
The Ginger Kid
still a chance to go 7-3 on this road trip...

Maybe it would help him focus more, see better pitches and be more selective. The down side is that the line-up may slump and not be as productive...........well that isn't even possible so why not. GreatScott82
Sox offense wakes up today... Contreras continues to improve, bullpen shuts em down. Sox will win this won. I predicted the Sox to go 2-1 in Seattle, 1-3 in LA and 3-0 in San Fran, and im sticking to it!

zenryan
I say put Swisher back at leadoff. Atleast he walks once in awhile. OC doesnt do a damn thing.
knightni
It's almost as if the whole team was told to "work the count", but none of them knows what to do once they get 2 strikes on them.
Allsox
Did I see tonight's lineup on Sportnite, right? Somebody check me: Cabrera - SS AJ - C Quentin - LF Dye - RF Thome - DH Konerko - 1B Crede - 3B Swisher - CF Uribe - 2B Like Quentin hitting 3rd, AJ hitting 2nd could lead to the fastest inning Lackey will ever see since he and OC luv swinging at the 1st pitch. Just meh in my book but what else can Ozzie do?

Cochise
QUOTE (zenryan @ May 14, 2008 -> 07:11 PM) not much really. I do like seeing things shaken up but I dont like seeing Thome and Paulie back to back. That is two instant outs right now. I feel exactly the same way. Everytime I hear that Oz is going to shake up the lineup, I keep thinking that obviously Thome and Konerko won't be batting back to back. At this point I kind of hate seeing an inning where they'll both bat, even if Thome leads off the inning and PK is 3rd, its still 2 outs for that inning. I am sort of looking forward to the San Fran series. It should give Thome and Paulie some much needed rest, at least a game each.
