As "Ocho Cinco" aka Chad Johnson so perfectly put it: "Coke. From McDonalds".

But yeah, I prefer any form of fountain coca cola by far, and I'm not a fan of any sort of pop in a can. Which brings me to my next point, as a self respecting lifelong Chicagoan, of course I call it pop. That's a given.

It's pop. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Period.

Correct, this isn't even up for debate.

Soda, everyone that calls it pop is just being stupid.

Your from New Jersey right? I think I remember that correctly. Anyways, it's fine if you think that. Your completely wrong and misinformed, but we all have things which we are wrong about.

Those aren't colas. I was going for colas.

And I should have added a third poll question - fountain, can, glass bottle or plastic bottle?

Glass bottle might actually be the best, but I have no idea where to find it.

Fountain > glass bottle > can >>>>>>>>> plastic bottle

meh, there are places that mess up the fountain mix so bad that the drink is unrecognizable.

Glass bottles are the best

I've heard pop be called sodie before, which was a tad strange, but my friend has a Southern dialect so that might explain something.

Kakalash vendor: "Mountain Dew or crab juice?"

Homer Simpson: "Eww, I'll take the crab juice."

I love Mountain Dew or anything similar to Sierra Mist. However, in recent years I have tried to cut back on pop seeing as though I'm running 3-5 miles each week day and I need my Gatorade or water fluids.

Great map. I remember being at a McD's in Macon GA and asking for a Coke.

"What kind of Coke?"

"Um... Coke."

"Okay, then!"

When I moved to Tennessee, from Chicago, I had similar experiences. Weird stuff. If I wanted a diet coke, or a sprite or something, why would I say coke?

It is pop!!!! In college we had a bunch of people from St. Louis, they made me crazy with their "soda"...

I personally like RC, but coke is a close second. For non cols, Dr. Pepper, Lime Jarriots and Green River. Root Beer has to be berghoff, that is some good stuff!

The best tasting pop is from the gun at a bar, granted, i should not drink pop at a bar, but it is the best, i think they use more syrup in thier mix so that it is really sweet.

GREAT point in the bold, I forgot to mention that actually. A coca cola from the gun at the bar might surpass anything else listed in the thread. I don't drink alcohol all that often, so I drive quite a bit when my friends and I go out and one of the benefits of being that way is the coca cola at bars tends to be outstanding.
