SoxFan1
This pitcher comes straight out of the school of Rod Beck Arm Dangling.
lostfan
QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 17, 2008 -> 12:38 AM) Now Dotel has taking a lot of s*** for his shaky start to the season, he's come on strong over the past few weeks though. I honestly can't remember a single bad thing being said about Linebrink. I remember a lot people being surprised by how good his stuff was, people who hadn't seem him pitch before assumed he was more of a smoke and mirrors type. I was worried about Linebrink thinking it had the potential to be a really bad contract and that he was going to fall apart in the Cell. But, if it was not, and Dotel came around, the bullpen would turn from an impossible weakness into a strength. Even though they've been pretty uneven at times (thanks MacD) I can't really complain too much about the bullpen. I guess when you've been watching the starting rotation the bullpen is a bit of a dropoff when it's really not that significant in the grand scheme of things. But if we had a real offense it wouldnt even be a concern.
G&T
QUOTE (fathom @ May 17, 2008 -> 12:43 AM) Wow, Thome got a pitch to murder, and fouled it off. Every AB he gets a pitch and fouls it. No pitcher is afraid of him. Either throw junk off the plate or straight fastballs. He can't hit it.

SoxFan1
Durham was one of my favorite White Sox of all time. I really do miss him. I remember one of my 1st games where he was signing autographs above the dugout and he was having a conversation with all the fans. It was really great to see.
