5/17 gamethread: Sox (21-20) vs Giants (17-26) 8:05, WGN

Recommended Posts

It's on WGN if you want to watch.

This may be the matchup of two pitchers who used to be good and now suck. I like to look at it as the matchup of 2 pitchers who, at one time or another, used to be Cy Young contenders, though one won one (!!1!11!!1!1!11!!11oneoneone), but one is now mediocre because he signed a monster deal, took it easy because he's loaded for life, and will just go out there and pitch when the ball is given to him. If it's not, he'd sit down.

The other one is a f***ing Boras client. f*** him.

In all seriousness, Buehrle should pitch well in San Fran. Zito f***ing sucks. Hit him.

Zito has been pitching better...Soft tossing Lefty...doesnt bode well for us...Alexi probably wont be within a foot of Zito's curve

Pablo will get the start tonight.

noooo. AJ is hot right now. Let him play while he is hot, and certainly against a crowd that will fire him up. After making those comments about the fans booing yesterday being "weak", he will really hear it tonight.

AJ is 0-12 lifetime vs Zito. He is hot but you also don't want to kill his confidence against someone he's had no success against.
