Stuart Scott called Gordon that.

I thought I heard something about Illinois. I thought he said he went to Illinois. Stuart Scott needs to go.

Alexander wasn't projected to go this high, was he?

Yeah he was.

Gallinari was ths surprise. The Knicks will probably go after Carlos Arroyo as their next PG.

well im excited about rose, but im a tad disappointed we didnt take beasley....but i was expecting this

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Rose damn well better be better than all these guards going in the lottery or the pick is gonna be terrible. I'm gonna be the ass that has very lofty expectations of Rose because I think Beasley is the better player.

i dont wanna sound like too big of a downer because i love rose's athleticism but here are a few reasons why i dont really love the pick.....

#90 with the talent memphis had around him and playing in that conference? (to his credit he averaged about 3 fewer minutes than most the people at the top)

71% Free throw %...thats bad especially for a slasher who should get to the basket and draw fouls

34% 3 point %...thats also bad for a guard

Udonis Haslem for Jamal Tinsley now? That might be interesting for both sides.

Larry Bird should jump on that.

I'd give up 22 and Bogans to get Haslem greasy.

Hmmm;

Rush is likely to get sent to Indiana in a trade though, which would give the Pacers a really good wing player and send Bayless to Portland and give them a perimeter scorer for the team that may be the most intriguing in the NBA right now. - 9:00 pm EDT

"The Blazers will send the rights to Rush and Jarrett Jack to the Pacers for the rights to Bayless and Ike Diogu. I think this is a great pick for the Pacers. Rush should be a great fit in the backcourt with T.J. Ford because he defends, shoots the ball and has great size in the backcourt. Rush is one of the most NBA-ready players in the draft."

Besides teams with superstars like Boston and LA, what team made the playoffs without a true, good PG?

The Blazers are loaded now. Bayless and Roy in the backcourt and Oden to come back at C.

They're gonna be good.

Where did you see this Rush to IND for Bayless trade?

EDIT- found it.

Portland with Paul Allen's money...

PG. Bayless, Blake

SG. Roy, Jones

SF. Outlaw, Webster

PF. Aldridge, Diogu

C. Oden, Frye

That's just nasty.

And the 27th pick coming up.
