Balta1701
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 21, 2008 -> 07:10 PM) I just wish we got more runs off base hits. If PK, JT, NS, and OC can at least regress towards their usual batting averages, I think that will happen.
G&T
Boone apparently having no interest in making this easy. Linebrink warming.
Dick Allen
I've never been a Boone Logan fan. Throw some strikes.
Balta1701
QUOTE (fathom @ May 21, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) Sometimes, Logan just has nothing coming out of the pen. Hopefully he makes the most out of that gift strike. He's pitched an inning in the last 10 days. That might have something to do with it.
fathom
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 22, 2008 -> 03:13 AM) Boone, man up and throw strikes. Dotel-Line-Jenks should be no where near this game. I really wish we'd use Thornton more, especially in situations with righties possibly batting.

fathom
QUOTE (G&T @ May 22, 2008 -> 03:16 AM) Right call at 2nd. Between Boone and Wass what's a manager to do? ONLY pitch them in situations where they're for sure facing a hitter who hits the same way that they throw (L-L, R-R). It's not Ozzie's fault though, those guys have been brutal. fathom
I'm going to sound like Hawk here, but Ben Francisco does a lot of things right at the plate. His swing reminds me of Brandon Phillips.

Frankensteiner
I think we should start using Masset in some of these Wasserman/Logan situations. I know he's the long guy and all, but he deserves a shot at some more meaningful work.
