clujer420
Sure, I'd like to see the guy make the team since he's my favorite player, and I feel he deserves to be there based on his numbers so far this season. Plus, with the game being at his home park, it would be an added bonus. But, do you guys remember in '00 when he was snubbed? He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, and (save the playoffs) was a monster for the rest of the year. I think the Sox would be better served if Frank didn't make it and had the 3 days off to stew and get fired up so that he can mash the ball when it matters most -- while wearing a Sox uniform in a game that actually counts. That said, I voted for him about 10 times. This is what I want to see much more of in '03...
CubKilla
But, do you guys remember in '00 when he was snubbed? Yeah. I also remember when he left the AllStar Game early one year because it was only an exhibition. Now he's lobbying to be included on the '03 roster since the AllStar Game is at USCF. I hope he gets on and I think he will with the injury to Sweeney. I also hope that if Frank does make the team, he treats it as what it is..... an honor..... and stays in the dugout at least for the entire game. It's refreshing to hear a player that WANTS to be on the team instead of the usual guys coming up with mysterious injuries to get out of the game. That's just disgraceful IMO. Rex Hudler
I think Frank definitely should have gotten a spot over Carl Everett. I would like to know who the players picked and who the managers picked. Have they released that info??
DonkeyKongerko
Everett was selected by the players.

On mlb.com there is a list that shows which players were picked by Sciosia or managers and players. AL NL
Mathew
Why in the blue hell is Eddie Guardado, the Twinkies sole pitty rep? Isn't Hawkins deserving of the pity selection? I guess it's better than Mike Wiliiams in the NL(poor Pirates)

Like it's a big deal? I mean.. Sosa did it last year... must be OK.
Grebeck Fan Club
I know that the year Frank left early he hit a HR and was going to be named MVP. It's hard to give the guy an award if he's on a plane. Sox fans never forget.
