Post often, but try to have something to say.  Posting for the sake of posting is annoying to most on here.

That is my problem, yet, I am posting here because whitesox.com broke my heart

Don't let them kid you. A small group of secret moderators and others vote based on your posts. If your posts are intelligent, well thought out, timely, and show the proper decorum you move up. If they are inarticulate, me too, lol :lolhitting and other simple drivel it takes longer. Don't worry, they are watching and reading. ;)

You may wish to try a comparison/contrast piece on Koch and Konerko struggles. The melodrama of a hitter and pitcher struggling to regain major league form. I'm certain the voting panel will appreciate that.

Any suggestions for things to add in or change?  At the time I came up with this list I never dreamed the site would grow to this size in such a short time.

How about this

Draft pick

0-50

Rookie leaguer

50-100

A ball

101-200

AA ball

201-400

AAA ball

401-800

Sept Call up

801-1500

Starter

1501-2500

All Star

2501-4000

MVP

4001-7500

Hall of Famer

7501-15,000

Legend

15,000+

Does that scale sound high enough? I also added the "draft pick" status for new posters, I kinda like that one, as it infers that someone is new here.

If crazy Jason wants it, I can do it.

We could have Low A and High A, and we could also name those levels after the Sox affiliates. Also, we could add like 40 man roster, 25 man roster, bench warmer, pinch hitter/runner/bullpen, and the like.

I do like the idea of naming the levels after the affiliates. Do you think we would have trademark problems or for something as inocuous as this that they wouldn't care?
