Chisoxfn
He didn't make the all star game cause he didn't have the numbers this year. The Cork incident had nothing to do with it, other then the fact that it kept him out of even more games (That and his toe injury).
Pastime
Read the "stats.inc" report for the last month. You'll see something interesting. Sammy Corka was leading the fan balloting. Once the world saw what a sham, liar, cheating, false piece of s*** he really was - his votes DIED. Enjoy the All-Star game from your room, Shammy. You are a fraud - and now you don't get the spotlight anymore, cheater. Ain't that a b****? Your skills are fading faster than a cheap T-Shirt, asshole. Welcome to mediocrity, jerkoff. Grebeck Fan Club
They were talking on Baseball Tonight about what a shame that Sosa wasn't going to play in his home town. Sure, there was some backlash from the cork incident, but he's missed 25 games this year. Morgan Ensberg has more home runs. He wasn't deserving, and that's the bottom line. Grebeck Fan Club
He's still a 'name' guy. Seeing him do those stupid Pepsi commercials with Giambi (where happened to Griffey?) makes me want to puke. I still remember those Thomas "I'm the big train" commercials.
chosk8
The other day when the Cardinals pitched to him and then intentionally walked Alou told me what the league thinks of Sammy* now. Second and third with one out. They pitch to Sosa* and he strikes out. Alou is then intentionally walked and Gonzalez hits the chopper-two-hopper to Renteria and he boots it for the game winner. If you remember, JM walked Patterson intentionally, to load the bases with one out, and get to Sosa. I worked too, Sosa K'd and we got out of the inning without any runs scoring. As far as I'm concerned, its not his hometown.

Just an example, no disrespect to Durham.
