claydude14
I figured I'd start the thread, as I'm going to the Knights game tomorrow... But, my apologies, because I don't know who's starting here, let alone at the other minor league clubs. I'm just excited to see Owens and Fields. Is Richar playing at AAA yet? That'd be the icing on the cake. I'm gonna try to get to at least one more game too, it's a four game set here in Rochester (the Twinkies farm club, so I'll be even more into it). Go Future Sox! scenario
Yep. Richar is back. He's played in 3 games since returning. You picked a great game to see pitching-wise... it should be Lance Broadway vs. Francisco Liriano. Edited May 26, 2008 by scenario
BigEdWalsh
For Charlotte, Broadway (5-2, 2.43) gets the start. Clayton Richard (3-6, 3.36) is the probable starter for Birmingham. John Ely (1-5, 3.63) to the mound for Winston-Salem. Nathan Jones (1-5, 7.54) is the probable starter for Kannapolis.
maggsmaggs
If Fields starts hitting, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox brought him up. Maybe play him at first base or DH, but if he hits and Swish, Konerko and Thome are still around .200, you have got to get Fields up here. claydude14
Neither Fields or Owens played today. Broadway had one rough inning (gave up 5 runs) but other than that looked pretty solid. They had Richar start at shortstop, and he went 0 for 4 in the 3 spot. Brad Eldred hit a nice grand slam of Liriano, but alas the Knights lost in the 10th (oh, Dewon Day). Hopefully going again tomorrow night!
bighurt4life
How much longer is David Cook going to stay in AA, the guy is mashing, time to move him up to AAA and see if he can hit up there. Maybe he's just a late bloomer but looks like he may be a legit prospect
JPN366
QUOTE (bighurt4life @ May 27, 2008 -> 03:36 AM) How much longer is David Cook going to stay in AA, the guy is mashing, time to move him up to AAA and see if he can hit up there.
