daa84
there was a cornhole thread around here a year or two ago...and ill say now what i said then.....completely and utterly overrated i cant stand the tooldouches who take it as seriosuly as the other tooldouches who take beer pong so seriously.... while my family owns a set and i think it can be fun at times, i just dont quite get the love from so many people at a tailgate...if theres room i prefer a good ole fashion pigskin

Leonard Zelig
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 27, 2008 -> 05:43 PM) Bags are sweet, but it really depends on the boards/bag combo how good the game is. I hate huge bags filled with rice or beads or whatever that only are good for people who 'flop/spin (aka throw like a girl)', I prefer sand and a board that doesn't slide em everywhere where you can naturally 'throw' Ladder golf is a really fun game, like it a lot. Washers on the other hand, I find pretty boring, and pretty impossible. I've never seen anyone play it with any sort of success. Hanging on my wall is my 2006 Soulard Bastille Festival Washer Tournament 1st Place plaque. Of course I lived in southern Illinois for about ten years. Texsox
Washer memory. A guy named Bob from Iowa. Came down to my camp last summer. World Class washer champ. Never came close to losing a match. I don't think he was ever behind in a match. He was also an amazing ping pong player. Especially that rotating version.

witesoxfan
I have no problem taking beer pong seriously because it is a competition and it can bring a bit of an adrenaline rush during the actual game. Those that take it so seriously that it will make or break their night are extremists though and really need to straighten their priorities out. I like winning as much as the next guy, and I'll do whatever I can to do so, but if I lose, I win...I'm playing the game to get hammered, and losing creates extreme drunkenness.
