That funky motion
Q will be there. The big question is, will he be in the HR derby and will it mess up his swing!!!
lostfan
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ May 28, 2008 -> 10:10 AM) well hey, we cant say much. ny and redsox fans are voting a lot! more than us! There's probably twice as many of them, at least, for each team. That being said, Francona is going to pick Carlos unless he's completely insane. Coco f***ing Crisp. The only way he should be at an All-Star game is if he has a ticket.
WCSox
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 28, 2008 -> 04:37 AM) Keep writing in CQ on your ballots. Force the AL to either pick him, or put him on the final ballot. I'm not going to even bother. The system is completely f'ed up if I'm allowed to vote 25 times (or whatever the number is) and then have to create fake e-mail addresses and vote several hundred more times to compete with fans of other teams. MLB needs to fix this bullcrap.
YASNY
Just look at any previous years AS balloting based threads and you'll see the same arguments. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Gregory Pratt
Quentin's going to the ASG, no worries.
lostfan
I turned in a blank ballot with just CQ's name on it. I don't really care about the rest.
jackie hayes
It really wouldn't seem that difficult to create a changing ballot based on playing time. Suppose you only get added to the ballot once you get 100 abs, something like that. Don't release a ballot until a reasonable number of players qualify, then add players as they qualify (while still allowing write-ins for anyone). You'd still get the ridiculous Coco Crisp votes, but at least you'd get rid of this sort of Owens/Quentin nonsense.
