Really? I am saying 3 or more guys on another that make as much money. I guess you can probably find someone on the Yankees but I don't even know for sure.

oh a trio im not entirely sure, but there probably is......yankees...pavano giambi and almost anyone (maybe damon)

mariners have beltre silva and sexson which has to be maybe the worst

dodgers have pierre loaiza and andruw

just about all those trios make more than our trio and are equally as bad or worse

Funny thing is he hit over .300 in these situations last year.

He did not have to around Walker last year just ask Swisher!

When's the last time the Sox got a hit with 2 outs and RISP?

Minnesota is the best in the AL with a .284 BA with 2 outs and RISP.

We are the worst in the AL with a .182 BA in the same situation.

Giambi is like top 5 AL in OPS. Damon has an .838 OPS. These guys are freaking Hall of Famers compared to what we've got going on.

Beltre has been pretty good, too. Certainly more productive than our guys. Silva and Sexson have been bad, but it's still just those two guys vs. our pathetic 3.

Jones has been bad. Pierre is OK for what they want out of him. Loaiza has been about as good as Buehrle. Those guys make about $10-12 M less than our three.

Pierre's actually having a solid year so far.

Our team has given up less than 3 runs a game this month and we are only 3 games over 500 for the month. Our offense better get its head out of its ass soon.

Well said :gosox3:

I agree with this but I'm doubting anything is actually going to be done about it. We've been awful for 2 years now. I bet they'll just stick with same old s***.

Conventional wisdom tells you it's a coaching problem, but these guys are veteran players too for the most part and should know how to hit in clutch situations. Maybe they just don't have it anymore? One baseball reporter said Thome can't catch up with the fastball anymore. I just don't know what to think anymore.
