Chisoxfn
I'm going to guess Clay Buckholtz (I know the BoSox sent him back down shortly after and I'm not sure if he's won a game since than).
Chisoxfn
I looked up Buckholz and I was wrong. He's got 2 decisions this year. Still, I'm thinking its the type of player that threw a completely random no-hitter, as opposed to the kind of guy that threw a no-hitter and than got hurt. Chisoxfn
Did you know: Player traded for himself 1962 In April, the Mets traded catcher Harry Chiti to the Indians for a player to be named later. On June 15, the Mets received the PTBNL, who turned out to be Chiti, making Chiti the first player to be traded for himself (in 1987, in the same sort of scenario, Cubs pitcher Dickie Noles was also traded for himself). Bud Smith? I always remember his no-no because it happened on September 10, 2001. Edit: It actually happened September 3. For some reason I just remember reading about it on 9/11.
