Tied for second on the team in RBI (54) plus was second in Runs Scored (61) and third in Home Runs (12)

best case: could be ready mid next year....probably wont be ready til 2010....

 

sox will probably start him in hiA ....hopefully he can move to AA by the end of the year, but he wont start for a while as georgia is still playing ball

One thing I'm excited about is the possibility of being able to watch him play in the College World Series if Georgia makes it.

What a great pick. Although several people on Soxtalk apparently still want that slow corner slugger (yet they hate ours during game threads) this kid has the potential to be an impact top of the order type hitter. I love the pick. We should see him late next year.
