witesoxfan
I'd be OK with bringing him back. Having a bit of depth on the bench wouldn't hurt, especially if Ozzie uses him at all 4 corners (or maybe not 1B, but the other 3 would be OK). Dick Allen
Since the Sox traded him, his slugging pct. is about .230. I see no reason a first place team needs this Nationals reject.
whitesoxbrian
Always a nice guy and I hope he finds a job soon- just not on the SouthSide of Chicago. We don't need a guy who can't hit right now, plain and simple.
daa84
if the sox would entertain cutting uribe id consider picking up mackowiak....really juan has basically no role on this team...he is a backup at the IF positions, but so is pablo, and mackowiak would be at 3b and 2b as well....also mackowiak would at very least give us a lefty off the bench and can also play the corner OF .... seems to me hes a bit more valuable than uribe, especially since alexei and ozuna can play SS if needed if OC goes down
Chisoxfn
What happened to Mack. He's been absolutely terrible since leaving. The thing is, we could really use a good left handed bat off the bench, but the reality is Mack hasn't hit in almost a full season now (since he was dealt at the deadline to San Diego). knightni
Oh thank God. We needed a centerfielder.
Chet Lemon
His defense is almost as impressive as his slugging pct. has since being traded last July.
Al Lopez's Ghost
Let the Pirates pick him up, and he'll hit a couple of game winning hrs against the Cubs.
Harry Chappas
Pick him up and put him in AA or AAA and have him work on the infield and see what happens. At worst, he can be a September call-up.
