looks like mcgriff has a torn groin according to yahoo. will they overpay for konerko now? who would we get in return/ starting pitching / relief. who could we get for a lee, konerko combo? maybe o. perez, mota, and maybe dave roberts to play center and lead off? move everett to left then?

possible lineup

1.roberts cf

2.alomar 2b

3.thomas 1b

4.maggs rf

5.everett lf

6.valentin ss

7.daubach dh

8.crede 3b

9.olivo/sandy

I'm thinking a 3-team deal would have to be worked out to keep us from getting ripped off royally again. That is, unless you want to keep Wright in the rotation.

I would take a Kong, Lee, Glover, and White for Mota and Quantrill deal....but then our rotation stays like it is, unless we also deal Wright in the process, or we go with a 12-man pitching staff, and I don't like that idea, because we then can't keep all of our good bats at the big league level.

I say if we can get Mota for Konerko, then do it in a heartbeat.

A guy in my fantasy league just picked up Paul Shuey. This guy could be smoking some serious crack, but is it possible that the Sox are going after him? And even if they were, would they make him the closer? My thought is hell no. Does anyone have any reason to think Shuey would be a closer here?

The guy is on crack. Shuey is worthless.
