Dana Carvey's new comedy special

I think the fact that his best impersonation is of Johnny Carson gives us an idea of how far past his prime he is. On a related topic, has anyone seen Doug Stanhopes comedy special on Showtime? It was on like 2 months ago and its on demand now. It moved right up to my number two favorite comedy special behind the untouchable Dave Chapelle "Killen em softly"

I remember the "Dana Carvey Show" that lasted like 4 weeks because he did something pretty offensive. It was hilarious stuff. Wish I could remember why it was yanked by the network.

Weren't Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell on that show?

It involved George H.W. Bush with puppies suckling from a set of his teats, IIRC.

I don't know how that show didn't make it with this writing team:

Charlie Kaufman

Louis C.K.

Dino Stamatopoulos

Spike Feresten

Stephen Colbert

Steve Carell

and Robert Smigel

"Suck his dick, play with his balls, fix him a sandwich and don't talk too much."

"Killin' Them Softly" and "For What It's Worth" are both absolutely phenomenal. Chappelle is my favorite comedian by far. I also enjoy Katt Williams. "American Hustle" and "Pimp Chronicles" are hysterical.

Was "For what its worth" the one where he did the shrooms? Also, if you havent seen it and like Chapelle, you should check out the Doug Stanhope I was talking about. Its called "No refunds"

Killin them softly is by far the best Ive heard and I think it would be nearly impossible to beat. I used to listen to it on a CD in my car all the time. Ive probably heard it over 100x

Oh yeah. I've got the DVD and seen it a ton. I've damn near memorized it. I'll check out this Stanhope guy soon.

"For What It's Worth" is the one with the hobo masturbating on the bus, him meeting the Indian, and the classic "What the f*** is juice? I want some grape drink!" etc.

I forgot about that one than. The only one of those I remember was the grape drink. Im assuming youve seen the one with the shrooms, I think it was in San Fransisco.

That's the same one from San Francisco. Killing Them Softly was D.C., the other was SF.
