Tattoo ideas

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo in honor of my deceased brother. My deceased brother was an avid motorcyclist, so I have thought of incorporating that into the tat but I'm not sure. My other brother had an angel riding a motorcycle put on his right shoulder, but I'm not sure that I want something that large. Any ideas?

Was their anything else he was into or anything that he stood for or that you related to him? I had a friend that died and we were both Tauruses so I got bulls horns tattooed on my traps. Nobody else gets it but when its a tattoo for something like that all that should matter is if its something that whenever you see it makes you think of them. The motorcycle thing is a good start but I would maybe go more simple and get something that you can relate to your relationship with him.

Well I'm sure he watched sports but his main passion was motorcycles, he made custom choppers and harleys for a shop in Florida. He was always a good athlete but recreational drug use slowed a lot of things down in his life. The hell of it was he had just gotten clean before he died in a car accident. He was a big fan of Sublime (a band), but I'm not sure how that could be incorporated into a tat. One thing that I'm not sure how to work into a tattoo but always thought was cool was when he was interviewed as a high school football player and they asked him his future aspiration : "Ride forever."

He also had many tats, but so many that I'm not too familiar with any of them they just kind of all blended together for me lol.

Maybe he had a favorite bike he made. Or a favorite bike in general. Maybe you can have the bike in the clouds or at the gates of heaven or something...with the saying underneath....Riding Forever...RIP

Sorry for your loss.

Why not a simple "RIP" and his initials, with the years he lived on there...

Another choice is to do RIP and his initials, and then a latin phrase or something...

Perhaps followed by "ave atque vale," which means "Hail and farewell!" in english, and is attributed to the 1st century Roman poet Catullus, who said it in honor of his deceased brother.
