SoxFan562004
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 07:47 PM) Will it? Maybe a little, but it will be back to previewing another Cubby demolitioning. Well the Cubs have a hard time hitting on the road, but the Cell becomes a launching pad and the Sox refuse to pitch A-Ram inside, so they will magically turn their hitting woes on the road around
fathom
At least we haven't and don't have to face Zambrano. I'm happy to not deal with his antics. Ozzie needs to pull Vazquez. These starters look very tired.
maggsmaggs
After we lose tonight and are 41-34, just pretend that 10 games ago we were 31-34 and are in the midst of 10-game win streak. HAHA. PS the Twins have to be loving this, a Sox team once against pissing on their legs and far inferiorTwins team creeping up right on their tails waiting to overtake them. Wanne
QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 07:47 PM) We definately need to brush him back It'd be nice to see somebody show some nads out there on the mound besides Danks.... I'm honestly sick to my stomach with this goddamn team now. No guts. No will. No fire. Told my girlfriend that if I had season tickets next to the dugout they'd be revoked by now I'd rip so much.... whitesoxbrian
I don't get why we're all worked up. I've been told a loss is fine even if we're still in first and even if it's vs. the Cubs.
Flash Tizzle
If this team has any balls they'll respond this inning with atleast one run. Show everyone you're alive, and not embarrassed by this pitiful evening of baseball.

SoxFan562004
this may be shortsighted, but the Twins are not the team that worries me, it's the Tigers all day
greg775
That at least looked pretty lofting in the Chicago air into the leftfielder's mitt. The Sox truly suck during the games I've seen them on TV.

One crack from a cub fan on Monday, and they wont have gameday either. Wait till the playoffs when the word cubs is in the pornfilter. You are awesome. greg775
Has a first place team at this stage of the season ever been as streaky? WIns and losses continue in bunches. North for a while; south for a while. Absolutely maddening baseball.

TheBigHurt
Ya, ya it is. The Cardinals were a terrible team that got first place on a technicality and somehow ended up winning a world series. Bottom line the goal of a team in the regular season is to get into the playoffs and at that point, anything can happen. Right now the Sox are in that position and statistically speaking (I hate statistics because i think the run pythagreom is a bit of BS) are one of the best teams in baseball (based on the differential, although that is over-estimated by the fact that this offense can explode for huge outbursts but for the most part the offense doesn't help a club that needs to get a key run late in games, as evidenced by the lack of knocking in a potential game winning run on Friday in the top of the 9th). lol. That team's division was TERRIBLE that year. Even though they are under performing, most teams in THIS division are better teams than the Sox. Simply put, Tigers are making a big comeback, we're a terrible team ATM, we're possibly about to relinquish 1st place very soon, and history has shown meltdowns after events like these. They're really isn't much optimism here right now. The Sox need another streak. But this looks bleak right now.
