I would imagine it could be difficult when your partner is gone for 3 innings a game.

Are the Sox wearing different caps today?

The MLB is wearing troop appreciation caps this weekend. All of them are blue with the lettering containing some form or fashion of the flag

Thome continues to really struggle against RHP. His splits are shocking this season compared to his lifetime numbers. Is the reason he struggles this year against RHP because it's easier for them to get the ball in on him, where he can't catch up with it anymore?

How long have they used them?

I got a shirt with the same design from about 6 years ago.

Since gameday makes it look like a ho-hum flyball to left field, can you enlighten me on what happened?

it wasn't the most beautiful catch, but he jumped up at the wall and took down a near HR.

I dont really know. This weekend is the first time I have ever seen the hats/logos for all of the teams.

I don't know why Thome can't hit righties well any more.

It's frustrating to see him whiff on so many pitches.

That's sad some fan threw a ball on the field (how else did the ball get there) and cost

him a single.
