Princess Dye
if Cust was in a WS uni, i'd think he was Jack Parkman
fathom
Farmer's call was about 10 seconds long on that fly ball. Great split, enjoy tomorrow off everyone!
BearSox
we came about a millimeter away from having to face Street in the 9th inning.

Chisoxfn
Nice job. Danks was nasty today and the Sox had some nice offensive sequences.
whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) Ozzie, please let Thorton be the closer when Jenks isn't playing. ^^^^^
BamaDoc
Gameday showed 4 out of 5 to Cust were change ups. That is a veteran pitcher catcher working.
BearSox
Linebrink is a SU man, and it's silly to think of him as anything more than that. Linebrink hasn't been able to pitch the 9th inning his whole career. He just lacks the mindset for someone to close out a game.
kwolf68
Nice win. I know Wise is a journeyman type, but he has a really nice approach at the plate and provides the speed we lack. With OC, Sexy Alexei and Wise we can run a little bit. The end result of this team is still pitching...Danks was brilliant today.

greg775
I don't see how anybody can be critical of Wise right now. He's fun to watch play and is contributing some. I do like BA, though. We played well w/out Paulie. Now that he's back he better suck it up and be the old Paulie. Wise and BA and Swish have done OK in his absence.
