BigSqwert
QUOTE (joemg311 @ Jul 10, 2008 -> 10:19 AM) With the text message method of setting the number as every recipient I have been able to send quite the number of votes. I can set 10 recipients at onces, so I can send 10 votes at a time, and just keep resending it. I can do about 100 votes per minute until the barrage of confirmation responses come rolling on in. Some times it takes a bit for the confirmations so I can get 500-1000 votes before my phone is a slave to the 500-1000 texts back from MLB saying I have voted for DYE. At that point I just have to let my phone sit for 15 minutes but its a nice break. Make sure you have unlimited texting like I do before you go this route unless you want the largest phone bill of all time.

Chisoxfn
LETS GET DYE IN Note: I still think he'll get in as a replacement for Ortiz (or have they already announced Ortiz's replacement).

alexgtp
I had 3 screns open. Voted for 3 straight hours. I also asked my staff to vote for JD when they had a chance.. LOL!!

I didn't know if that meant he was his replacement in the starting lineup or on the actual roster.
watchtower41
The polls have now officially closed. We'd better seal this deal after the reputation we gave oursleves. Dye deserves it more this year than Pods and A.J. put together in our past winnings. I just hope that if he does get in, clowndick Francona will actually play him. I still think he deserves the nod over J.D. Drew.
chw42
J.D. Drew is having back problems. Mr. Glass has reappeared everybody! Even if Jermaine doesn't win, he'll take Ortiz's spot. They better not have Giambi take it instead of him.
DABearSoX
Final Vote Article Longoria and Hart win.... What I find funny is that no where in this article is says the final vote totals for the front runners. All it says is that JD was a close 2nd....really makes me think that it could have been rigged to get the young players in there....and also b/c the Rays are such a good story... chw42
How did Corey Hart win? Pat Burrell, like Dye, should of been on the original roster...

GoSox05
Longoria was gonna win this no matter what. They wanted him there. He's a fresh young face.

Stay tuned. Bradley was named to the team initially, correct? People have been saying Bradley is Ortiz's injury replacement on the roster, but I don't think so. I think he's just replacing Ortiz in the starting lineup Tuesday. Can anyone clarify?
WSoxMatt
Longoria had over 9 million votes and Hart had over 8 million...Those are the only numbers besides 47 million votes that I have seen
