NorthSideSox72
Rochester @ Charlotte, in warm-ups, Lance Broadway with the start (and Konerko at 1B, for probably his last rehab game) B-Ham @ Huntsville, also in warm-ups, Torres starting Kinston @ Winston-Salem in Game 1 of a doubleheader, Kinston up 7-3 in the 3rd. Ely got rocked early - 7 runs (5 earned) in 1.1 IP. Kinston @ Winston-Salem in Game 2 after Game 1 concludes. Santeliz scheduled to start that one. Kanny @ Columbus, just underway. Rice is starting, and Matt Inouye is ready to rock your socks. The Appy and Pioneer leagues are both off - no Bristol or GF today.

whitesoxfan101
PK can clearly hit triple a pitching, it's too bad we didn't have him around for interleague play.
danman31
Escobar 3-4 for the I's. Up to .263, not bad after that horrid start. 15 for his last 38 after starting 0-19. Charlis Burdie (22 year old reliever) K'd 2 and walked one in an inning for his Kanny debut. He had 22 K to only 4 BB and 3 hits in 11 innings at Great Falls. Age is obviously a huge issue with him, but his K numbers have always been good.
RockRaines
D Cook from my Alma Mater is still doing well, but is showing a high k rate, more than 1 per game and his walk rate is down. .287 .374 .879 in AAA Edited July 8, 2008 by RockRaines
