scenario
QUOTE (KyKyGruber @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 08:45 PM) What about Ray King to close? Burger Boy is now slinging for the Astro's AAA team.
justBLAZE
The Official Sox Website has Bobby going on DL tomorrow with a roster move to follow. I think this is official now.
WhiteSoxfan1986
What about Broadway? IMO he's a better fit for the long man than Masset, who I've never liked in that spot.
chiguy79
QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 01:35 AM) What about Broadway? IMO he's a better fit for the long man than Masset, who I've never liked in that spot. It seems like Masset puts a lot of baserunners on as indicated by his WHIP, he makes me pretty nervous as a mistake with him will probably cost us 3 runs. Russell has looked good from what I have seen. Lets just get bobby healthy, we should be able to beat KC without him. Thornton is still filthy and dotel/linebrink will need to keep it up and close things down.

scenario
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 12:53 PM) Active and in long relief. JPN, You seen Jon Link quite a few times... how ready do you think he is to get a look for the Sox bullpen if we need to bring someone up from the minors? (I figure since we've brought relievers up from AA before... that shouldn't seem out of the question.)
quickman
I think Carrasco could be the guy they will bring up
Chisoxfn
Is it weird that they played with 24 guys yesterday and still haven't made an announcement of who is up? I did see Elo in the dugout at yesterdays game (not that it means he's playing as I believe he's been traveling with the team and working with Cooper on some strength and conditioning type stuff to help increase his velocity). JPN366
QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 01:02 PM) JPN, You seen Jon Link quite a few times... how ready do you think he is to get a look for the Sox bullpen if we need to bring someone up from the minors? (I figure since we've brought relievers up from AA before... that shouldn't seem out of the question.) I'd say he needs to pitch against AAA hitters before he were to be called up to the majors. All I know is he's been lights out for the Barons. He's about 25 for 27 or 28 in save chances and he's only given up 6 runs all year. To be honest, I'm surprised he hasn't been promoted yet.
