Read it, it is pretty neutral. I grabbed it because that's what was on google news (my home page).

The picture you linked isn't. They obviously hand picked one that would paint the protest in the worst light. I could do the same for any of the GW Bush protests. Take a group of people with legitimate concerns, but only show pictures of the most radical to move an audience towards ones biased view.

And the quotes they used are also hand picked to have only the dumbest. It's like when Hannity goes out and interviews 200 Democrats, then shows only the most idiotic responses and claims it was the consensus..

As the morning wore on, more and more demonstrators arrived, identifying themselves as Republicans, libertarians and independents. Several speakers denounced the health care plan as “socialism.” A few Confederate flags waved in the air, but there were hundreds of American flags and chants of, “USA! USA! USA!” A young girl held a sign, saying, “Don’t redistribute the wealth of my Barbies.”

More Healther propaganda.

When a guy like Glenn Beck, who once said this:

You know, it took me about a year to start hating the 9/11 victims’ families. It took me about a year. Um, and I had such compassion for them and I really, you know, I wanted to help them, and I was behind — let’s give them money, let’s get them started, and all of this stuff. And I really didn’t — all the 3,000 victims’ families, I don’t hate all of them, I hate about, probably about ten of them. But when I see 9/11 victim family, you know, on television, or whatever, I’m just like, ‘Oh, shut up.’ I’m so sick of them. Because they’re always complaining. And we did our best for them. And again, it’s only about ten.

...tells people to go to Washington to protest something I can't help but to agree with Maher's assessment.

Because every single person is there because Glen Beck told them to do it? Please. I don't want to see you criticize people for massive generalizations anymore if you are going to feed me a line like that.

I posted an article covering it and the picture from the article.

Protest signs leave something to be desired (they're clearly not in marketing/ advertising) but I didn't call them nutty or anything.

No the NY Slimes did.

As always a classless piece of s***

What do you expect from Maher. He is filled with moronic comments.

We have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it's not cowardly.

and donated a lot to Obama. You can say 'librul' all you want, but they are pro-Obama. which is fine, they can be pro-whatever they want as far as I'm concerned as long as they don't get special treatment from the White House
