DrunkBomber
QUOTE (Texsox @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 05:35 PM) I THINK SPPEDERS SHOULD BE CHARGED AND PAY A FINE! Thats it. You wont acknowledge it because its a good point and I would actually like anyone reading this to tell me whats wrong with it. So far your case against this simple concept involves california car buyers and illigal immigration. What if youre not driving or what if your car wasnt even the one speeding genius. Thats the flaw in the system. Give up already, you got nothing

DrunkBomber
Tex, another great example of skipping over things. Id like you to find where I said I speed and Im upset about it because I dont want to pay fines and get caught. Since you based your argument on that, please find it or shut up about it. I wasnt using the lady in California or illegal immigration to justify anything about speeding. I was using it to show how much of a hypocrite you are and basically point out how pathetic your argument was, and still is. Considering I never said speeders shouldnt have to pay fines did I? Thats the flaw in the system. Give up already, you got nothing Perhaps if you loan your car to someone that looks exactly like you and who would not go to court and admit they were the person driving. I don't have any friends like that, perhaps you do.

It's not about the speeding (crime), you care about the actual ticket (fines because they go to a corrupt governor).

DrunkBomber
QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 04:58 PM) Nice try but no. That means its not the specific law or fine that I personally am concerned with. Its the flaws in the system. Just so you know, I guarantee you that you were the only one who might think that, which I doubt you do. I would assume its a ploy to try and justify your bs. Texsox
QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 04:56 PM) What does what the person looks like have to do with it? WHy should you have to go to court if you werent speeding? The camera will have a picture of you. That's why it is important what you look like. Of course in an ideal world everyone that goes to court will be guilty. But in this country, some people have to go to court when they are innocent. In fact, it seems that almost the entire purpose of our court system is to decide guilty or innocent and an appropriate punishment. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 04:58 PM) Nice try but no. It's what you wrote. Care to explain what you meant? You said you don't care about the speeding, you care about the ticket. And I'm still reeling from being called a cowboy, and the Tony Robbins comment. That cut deep.

DrunkBomber
QUOTE (Texsox @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 05:25 PM) Really? Would you feel better if there was also a picture of the driver? If they had a camera that could not only take a picture but identify who was driving the car and that person got the ticket even if it wasnt their car then yes I would feel better. Since they cant, no it doesnt make a difference. Did you give up trying to justify your bs lies about what I said?
Texsox
http://www.dot.state.il.us/press/r020906.html http://www.dot.state.il.us/safetyEng/FactSheet_032608.pdf Do I have an opportunity to slow down before the camera takes my picture? Yes. In addition, the vans will have a speed indicator device that will be triggered by a separate radar and will communicate the vehicle's speed to the motorist. This will give the motorist one last opportunity to slow down before the camera radar is triggered. If the motorist does not slow down, the camera radar will be triggered. A photo of the driver, vehicle, and license plate will be taken. The time of day and speed will also be captured.

It is funny you didn't even know they photo the driver. And I really wish I had paid as much attention to your posts as you have mine, I'm flattered. And I really wish I had paid as much attention to your posts as you have mine, I'm flattered. You seem to know so much about what I have posted and I honestly can't remember any of your posts. Where I said I go around speeding and thats why Im upset about this? No you quoted something that you completely misinterpreted. The only thing they use on the pictures is the license plate so they know where to send the ticket. Do you honestly think someone is going to sort through the pictures and compare them to a picture of the owner of the car before they send out the tickets? Like I said, I have only really thrown my hat into about 5 or 6 threads passionately and youve been in every one of them and have always had a different view than me, thats how I remember. You on the other hand chime in on everything, even stuff you know nothing about, so I wouldnt expect you to remember what everyone posts. Are you going to find where I said I go around speeding and Im upset because I dont want to pay fines or admit you were wrong about that?

lostfan
QUOTE (Texsox @ Aug 16, 2008 -> 06:32 PM) So what did you mean Mr. Clinton? He is concerned about the potential margin for error which he sees as avoidable and also the fact that the real motivation for it is a revenue stream for Blagojevich, and not about actual public safety (similar to DC's red light camera system which is an absolute mess) Or something like that... he's said it several times now Edited August 16, 2008 by lostfan

Tex you may disagree with me but are you honestly not going to admit that youre wrong about my what my problem with the system is? YOU interpreted what I said terribly wrong, it wasnt even a confusing statement and you ran with it and even used it to say that I am a criminal in all aspects of my life. Are you a big enough man to admit you were wrong about it or are you going to keep trying to say you KNOW what I meant?
