So cutting tax rates 20% in the primaries and cutting tax rates 20% in the debate. No change there.

Lowering regulations in the primary and good non-excessive regulation in the debate. No real difference there.

Objectivity by the NY TIMES== No change there either.

"Unsettling Pictures of Mitt Romney With a Very Tiny Face" is a new project by Wisconsin humorist Reuben Glaser that involves taking Mitt Romney's face and then making it very tiny. The idea of "Little Face Mitt" is to get people to involuntarily forever see Mitt Romney with a tiny face. Please Submit a Mitt!

looks like Romney has taken the lead nationally and in many swing states. Obama's campaign, consisting mostly of marketing slogans and celebrity endorsements (no ideas, no plan, no specifics), is not doing so good. Sure, there are some people that vote based on shiny logos and marketing slogans, but it appears they are not a majority in the US.

It updates every day.

This was a story pre-release, showing that there was a three day Romney boost, that has clearly since faded.

Rasmussen shows similar too, with a 4 point bump for Romney that has settled into a tie score in their tracker today.

I won't lie and say as an Obama supporter that I'm not concerned, but I'm also seeing evidence that says that polls over the weekend had a big bounce that seems to be fading. The PPP poll out tomorrow with Daily Kos will show Romney ahead as well, apparently.

Hmm, interesting. I guess that means the bump is pretty meaningless

Honestly, its too soon to tell. But a number of pollsters have become interested in being part of the story, so they talk about the process. PPP said that they saw amazing numbers on Thursday and Friday for Romney, and numbers that were around pre-debate levels by Saturday and Sunday. It could just be that Dems were too busy licking their wounds to talk until the weekend.

The Pew poll crosstabs seem to be pretty lopsided, and a huge percentage was from the South. Coupled with a likely voter screen that favors Republicans (because they are a more reliable turnout), you're getting a big bounce for Romney. It's really unlikely that the fundamentals of this race have shifted after 90 minutes where two candidates said almost nothing you'd remember a week later. (Outside of firing Big Bird)

Nate Silver said the post debate big bounce would eventually fade but he is also saying the race will tighten as we get to election day, he said they natuarally do.

Obama just needs to be more forceful next time, the town hall meeting format is more favorable for him anyways. Also, Biden needs to Cheney Ryan, make him look too green, I just hope Biden doesn't stick his foot in his mouth like he is so prone to doing.

Obama and Biden should have a big advantage in the next few debates. The remaining moderators are all loyal Democrats.

For example, Martha Raddatz, whom is moderating the VP debate, had Obama as a guest at her wedding. Obama also appointed her husband chair of the Federal Communications Commission.

Unless she asks Romney a loaded question ("Gov. Romney, the woman you killed from taking away her husband's job, and her healthcare along with it - how did that make you feel as you swam in your cash pool?") I think the moderators could be Joe Biden/Paul Ryan and it wouldn't matter. They're too good (or bad?) at bringing up their talking points in their answers.
