I guess some Republicans do want the challenge of running against Hillary. Good luck to them. She's going to be running on a very general platform, issues that nobody can refute. i.e. Equal pay for women in all jobs. And other women's rights issues. That's what I read today. Brilliant. But what Republican is dumb enough to want to be defeated by Hillary? Why not wait eight years and give it a better shot.

Yeah, go ahead and make that front and center.

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Hillary-C...2/23/id/626388/

Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic presidential candidate who is traveling the United States to speak against unequal pay for women, paid her own female employees much less than her male staffers when she was a U.S. senator from New York, according to a new report.

The Washington Free Beacon found that she paid women about 72 cents for each dollar she paid to men who worked in her Senate office from 2002 to 2008. Clinton was sworn in on Jan. 3, 2001, and served until Jan. 21, 2009, when she assumed the position of secretary of state.

All she is going to run on is 'i am a woman, vote for me' and 'they are saying mean things about me because i am a woman, not because I am totally incompetent at every thing I have ever done and am a truly evil person!'. She can't run on her record because what little there is happens to be pretty bad. Her biggest claim as the S of S is that she is the most traveled secretary ever. Oh boy, vacations on the Federal dime! Woo hoo! She also treats subordinates like crap ie. staff and cops and Secret Service agents assigned to protect her.

This is scary stuff. I can't believe we Americans are going to vote her in. She'll obviously deny each of these reports, but it is pretty well documented she is a very very mean, entitled person. Why do we need her? How bout somebody new? I am normally pretty apathetic. But the thought of her in the office bothers me. How anybody sees her as "likeable" or even somebody you'd trust in the oval office kills me. I mean I despise Obama, but I trust that he's a decent guy and I trust he's not going to do anything really dumb.

Lol do you guys really think Hilary is going be the next president? I guarantee some Obama esque dark horse comes through and shanks her again.

This is the first I've heard even suggesting that could be a possibility. I wonder if she'll really flip the finger at America and pick a buddy to be Veep. Who are her closest friends/allies, female predominately who she could pick as VP. I think she'll just pick a comrade.

Unless there is some ultra-super-mega damaging information that the Republicans are just sitting on and waiting until next September to let out, there's no chance Hillary loses.

People were saying that last time, too. Then, Obama came out of nowhere and demolished.

It's definitely possible but the fatal flaw in 2008,her Iraq war vote, isn't a big deal in 2015/2016. I don't know who's going to really step up and challenge from within the Democratic party.

Everyone always says this, but is it really true? Hilary was certainly the leader at the start, but Obama didn't exactly come out of nowhere when the '08 election cycle began-- he'd been the hotshot Senator with a lot of national pub, and it wasn't surprising he ran for President.

In my personal opinion, it's true. I wouldn't call a guy that's had hardly been in office a "hotshot senator". The only reason most of us had ever heard of him was because we're from Chicago, but he burst onto the national scene seemingly overnight to secure a primary victory and then the presidency.

I think her fatal flaw, right now, is that her last name is Clinton. Just as Jeb's is Bush.

They're the Yankees...and only Yankee fans like to see the Yankees win. ;)

No more Bushes and Clintons please. Somewhere in that statement is a perverted innuendo.

I can agree with you on that one. Although would have sounded a little more perverted the other way, no more Clintons and Bushes...

Thirded. You'd think our presidential choices would me more broadly considered than the Sox' managerial hires.

You don't have to come up with multiple billions of dollars handed to you by incredibly rich friends of yours to become manager of the White Sox.

Obama first broke out with his 2004 convention speech

If I did I would have recently announced my candidacy for Governor of Indiana.

Why is that her fatal flaw? Everything I've heard is the country is in love with the Clintons and Hillary will win by one of the greatest landslides in history.

I think it's easier to call the new guy a "hotshot senator." Best comp right now is probably Cory Booker.

I agree we knew more about him since we lived in Chicago, but as SS pointed out, he really broke out with the 2004 DNC pitch.
