HuskyCaucasian
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/25572620/ Dan Patrick has been named a co-host of NBC's "Football Night in America" studio show, reuniting him with Keith Olbermann. The two redefined sports highlights during their time together on ESPN’s SportsCenter from 1992-97. Patrick, who will handle highlight duties with Olbermann, joins host Bob Costas and co-hosts Cris Collinsworth and Olbermann, along with analysts Jerome Bettis and Tiki Barber and reporter Peter King. "We are proud to reunite one of the greatest teams in the history of sports broadcasting. Dan and Keith were more than successful together, they defined the way that sports highlights are now delivered. Their unique delivery has been sorely missed and now they’ll be able to take their act to a primetime network television audience each Sunday night in the fall,” said Dick Ebersol, Chairman, NBC Universal Sports & Olympics. Mr. Showtime
How many people do we need on this show?
Brian
"History of Sports Broadcasting"? They are fine together but that is going a tad too far. Not too mention they were already reunited when Patrick was on ESPN.
MHizzle85
Eh, isn't it past their time to try and "rekindle" this?
Rex Kickass
And all Dan Patrick is doing is the highlight show anyway... doesn't seem like there's a lot of there, there.
Swingandalongonetoleft
I enjoy the pairing. On topic, Patrick on an 8 day tape delay on 670 is the closest thing to a replacement for ESPNs ill advised axe on Rome 8 day tape delay for that time slot. Nowhere near as good, but it's something... Edited July 11, 2008 by ChiSox35
knightni
8 day? You mean 8 hour, right?

Swingandalongonetoleft
I know, I was mocking the delay. There were times where shows from days past were aired though, or the same show twice in a row. They didn't care.
