How much is gas in your town?

Today, low grade unleaded: $4.49.

I live in kind of a remote area near the mountains called the cove, so I have to drive about 10 minutes 'into town' for everything. I'm planning better so that I get everything done at once, instead of my usual back and forth whenever something popped in my head.

Are you making adjustments?

Nearest station in this part of Chicago, $4.59 for regular unleaded.

Things we have done to cut down gas use:

--Bought a hybird in January, which gets about twice the mileage our previous car did

--Both telecommute one day a week

--I take the train and walk, or bike, to work downtown

--Wife has to drive due to her office location, but she runs errands on the way home to save trips (groceries, etc.)

--Walk/bus/train to anywhere we can outside of work (Sox games, movies, etc.)

$4.15 for regular unleaded in Marco Island, FL.

Luckily since Marco Island is so small I can bike/walk pretty much anywhere.

I heard gas is $4.20 for regular unleaded in Tallahassee, FL. There they have a campus bus that comes every 15 minutes right across the street from my apartment complex. I also bike to campus as its less than 2 miles, and Publix is a 2 minute walk for me.

Hey there Tex, what's going on?

Yep, down the road on I-10 eh? Schulenberg is a nice lil'ol town.

We here just had the Luling Watermelon Thump festival, last weekend in June. It was nice.....mmmmmmmm, turkey legs......

Surprisingly, gas stayed the same during the whole event. It was $3.79 back then.

Haven't been to South Padre in years, luv that beach town.
