That's other than disk cleanups and defrags. go to start->run, type msconfig, go to the startup tab http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages...tartup_full.htm a lot of programs start without you knowing when you start the computer, and use up RAM. this site tells you which ones you need going, and which ones you don't. LDF Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 spiff you done great lad. you have improved alot. now if that person wants to go to the start, searc and look in the files for (.tmp, .temp, *.temp and *tmp) everytime you start a computer the memory cache goes somewhere and you need to delete them. the next step if for season veterans, go into the registry and manually clean out the garabage.
