whitesoxbrian
Great game by the coaching staff today: Ozzie keeps Danks in to face Avilies Ozzie keeps Thornton in to face German Crede isn't guarding the line Cox sends AJ You can also say no pinch runner for AJ was stupid as well. Nothing like losing 2/3 at home to the Royals. :chair Edited July 20, 2008 by whitesoxbrian
WhiteSoxfan1986
Losing 2 of 3 to KC at home is unacceptable. We should have had bases loaded with one out and the eight, but Jeff Cox decides to give away an out, sending one of our slowest runners against one of the best arms in the league. It was nice to see Jenks throwing in the mid-90's again though. Hopefully he can sustain that.
justBLAZE
I'm starting to think the sooner Twins overtake us, the sooner Kenny will make some moves, which clearly are NEEDED in the long run.

fathom
This pitching staff has hit the wall, and we face some terrific offense for the next few weeks. Something very strange is going on with Linebrink.
greg775
Poor BA and AJ. Both get clutch hits and nothing for it. AJP has to be embarrassed by being sent home by a dumb third base coach who doesn't notice their outfielder playing shallow to begin with, showcasing how slow AJ is and being out by a mile. BA comes through big time, but it's wiped out by a very dumb decision to send him. Edited July 20, 2008 by greg775

It surely doesn't seem like a real bright idea to start a s***ty reliever on two days rest, but, hey, what do I know?

Can he be any worse then Contreras? IMO, Carrasco seems like a good long relief guy anyway, maybe we can keep Contreras on the DL, keep Massett in the rotation, and pray to God he keeps us in games unlike Contreras did. Masset in the rotation would be ok for a team playing out the season. We need to win some games though, and Masset won't be good enough as a starter. Richard, Broadway, whoever is going to struggle. Loaiza's coming back! I think Ozzie and KW will probably go with someone whose been here already... so we might see Haeger or Broadway. If Broadway wasn't doing bad I would give him the call. The thing about Haeger is he hasn't had much success starting up here in his limited time. We really have no good options right now. fathom
I would love to see Loaiza start on Tuesday against Texas. That would be just too much fun. I hope Ozzie shuffles the rotation with the day off on Thursday.

SoxFan1
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 05:07 PM) X-rays negative, got him on the other knee. Glad it was nothing serious. From the way he went down at the game, it looked much worse. I thought it might have got him in the same knee.
