Charlotte loses to Indianapolis 5-2

David Cook 3-4

Richar 1-5 with a 2B and 2RBI

Brad Eldred back in the lineup after a broken hand kept him out for the last month or so. goes 1-3

Egbert 6IP 5R 2ER 5K gets the loss

 

 

Birmingham vs. Mississippi postponed

 

 

Winston-Salem loses to regular Salem 6-4

Retherford 2-3 with a 2B 1RBI and 1BB also his 20th E on the season

Shelby 2-5 1RBI 19th SB on season

 

 

Kannapolis vs. Savannah postponed

 

 

Great Falls losing to Ogden 10-3 in the 8th

Gerst 0-4

Grace 3-3

 

 

Bristol loses to Kingston 3-0 in rain shortened game

Silverio 0-2 2K

Dubler 1-2 2B

Castillo 2-3, avg up to .377 but almost no power for a 1B

It's still raining. We're getting cast off weather from the hurricane in the Gulf. I was 20 minutes into "The Dark Knight" when the theater lost power last night. Anyway, the Barons and M-Braves are supposed to play a DH tomorrow starting at 4:35 CT.

For being out for a month, he still leads the International League with 72 RBIs and he's 2nd in HRs with 26 (Mike Hessman for Toledo has 30) :o

like a .265 average and he doesn't draw walks...basically meaning he'd be lucky to put up Fields' line from last season. He's pretty much the truest defintion of a AAAA player.

Yes he's pretty much a AAAA player, but his numbers sure would look good if they were Paulie's :D
