was that wtf targeted at a specific post or did you just lose it trying to figure out who will play where?

I'm in pacific time and just sat down at my computer. That's a general "WTF" for all of this.

Do we have definite details on the trade yet?

Griffey for.....?

Seems like Griffey, 1/2 of his contract for this season ($2 million) and the cost of his $4 million buyout at the end of the season ($6 million total) for Nick Masset and Danny Richar.

White Sox confirm Griffey will start in CF regularly, with Konerko going to the bench.

I'm wondering if they'll begin working Dye in at 1B slowly. They don't want Griffey in CF for the long-term.

Please don't question my fandom. Its an argument you will lose. I'm saying Griffey isn't very good anymore. If he's playing CF think Carl Everett in 2003 and Rob Mackowiak in 2006, maybe slightly better.

Oh please. Griffey may not have the range anymore, but he'll get good reads and breaks on balls. Crazy Carl and Mack were just clueless out there. Griffey's played a little CF before.

please dont, we better be getting like 3 players back with him and 1 of them better be better then Owings

Owings is going to AAA for a reason, Dbacks should just tell him to become a 1B

Owings would hit better than Paulie

I have 1000 on. I can't stand the Score, and I'm going to wait to see other conformation before believing Jesse Rogers.

same, cant even think about putting on 670 if the sox arent on

A coworker of mine who broke this trade to me first is now also saying something about dealing Swisher back to the A's for Street.

Duscherer and Street for Swisher and someone else maybe.

Street is crap.

I think I've got this figured out...

Swisher's headed back to Oakland in a deal involving Duchscherer, whom KW has been after for a couple of weeks.

I could see a deal centered around Swisher involving Duch and Street (obviously the Sox would give up more than just Swisher).

Yeah, 670's only had Steve Stone on for the majority of the morning (including right now).

That guy doesn't know ANYTHING compared to Mark Silverman.

Please tell me I don't need green...
